MY DERMALOGICA

Dear Stockists

Since we launched the My Dermalogica online ordering portal in 2009 we have continued to gather and assess feedback from the relatively small number of stockists that use the portal on a regular basis.

The feedback we have received has led us to conclude that the existing system, while providing a useful tool for (especially) our smaller stockists also has certain shortcomings which prevent it from being a great tool for ALL our stockists to use effectively and efficiently. Furthermore the costs of running the system are prohibitive for the relatively small number of stockists that regularly use it.

Consequently we have decided that as from January 2011 we will suspend the My Dermalogica ordering system. During 2011 we will work on assessing the needs of you, our stockists from an online ordering perspective to see how these can be fulfilled.

In the meantime, our feedback has indicated that for many, the most useful aspect of the My Dermalogica system is the ability to see the rand value of your order as you complete the order. I am pleased to say that we have developed a tool that will still enable you do exactly this.

We've created a simple-to-use Excel spreadsheet tool that we've named 'Dermalogica Ordering Calculator'. Please ask your Business Consultant for a copy of the latest version. The instructions to use this are on the first page 'instructions'. I can assure you this is a  FAST and easy way to compile your orders. It has the following major advantages:

1)      The format is easy to navigate as it is exactly the same as our paper based order form.

2)      It will take account of your relevant discount to calculate the cost of your order immediately as you update it.

3)      It will also tell you how many sample points your order earns and enable you to choose the samples that you want.

We are confident that this will satisfy all your needs and that even if you have not used My Dermalogica before this tool will prove useful for you.
